Axeon appoints motor industry guru to Advisory Board

Bob Dover, the former Chairman and CEO of Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin, has joined the Advisory Board of Axeon, Europe’s largest independent supplier of lithium battery systems.

He is a highly respected motor industry figure with a wealth of experience working with major manufacturers. His project credits include leading the team that transformed Land Rover with the Discovery, as well as heading up the Jaguar XK8, Aston Martin V12 and Vanquish programmes.

Lawrence Berns, Axeon CEO said of the appointment: “Bob will help ensure that Axeon is offering OEMs solutions tailored to their broad and complex requirements, as well as use his industry knowledge and networks to help expand Axeon's customer base.”

He holds a First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester University and has subsequently been granted Honorary Degrees from Warwick and Coventry universities. Bob is a Fellow of The Royal Academy of Engineers and today holds a small portfolio of non-executive positions in addition to teaching and consultancy roles.
