Key Responsibilities:

3D component & assembly design using CAD systems
Maintenance of product database using PDM system
Engineering calculations
Specification of materials
Specification of joining techniques
Working in close cooperation with the Program Engineering Managers
To carry out mechanical engineering design tasks with a high degree of of prefessionalism, ensuring accuracy of output and adherence to required deadlines

Requirements:

Graduate Mechanical Engineer
3D CAD/CAE proficiency - ideally using Pro Engineer Wildfire
Product Design - ideally plastics
Understanding of ISO 9001
Experience of Windchil PDMLink 9.0 or other PDM systems, finite element modelling of stress and/or thermal loading of mechanical systems
Understanding of plastics, material types, injection moudling processes
Understanding of basic stamping and metalforming processess
FMEA & DVP
Knowledge & understanding of appropriate electrical safety requirements
Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly
Relevant higher qualifications an advantage
Appropriate command of Polish & English, German an advantage
